WHO WE ARE
The Koirala Kaesler Foundation is in place to support vulnerable women and girls, whether they might need legal support to claim part of the house they once owned, education and training, so that they might be able to provide for themselves and their children, or simply a safe community of friends where they can speak freely about what they may be going through.
The Koirala Kaesler Foundation is also a place which provides a home to street, orphans and other vulnerable children. As well, programmes to fund their studies, including the educational materials and text books for children of low income families.
The main target is to aid, support and empower women and children, but also a variety of side projects, ranging from the use of recycled materials to produce useful articles, such as bags or to organise and manage cooking classes via our programme 'Temple, Trek and Taste' that takes place in the hills to the north of Kathmandu, a mere 30 min drive from the city centre!
All proceeds, after costs, go toward supporting our efforts.
